By the way, did you know what a Children's Workshop is? Under the watchful eye and supervision of adults specializing in early childhood and adolescence, children take part in activities designed to help them express their creativity and free their imagination : drawing, reading, painting, modeling, basketry and more.
The 1st edition of its kind was held on August1 in the Foodcourt area of the PlaYce Yaoundé shopping center, with the participation of some twenty children aged between 7 and 14. They enjoyed coloring and storytelling in the comfort of a reading mat.
Workshops like these help to stimulate children's creative potential, foster their self-fulfilment by encouraging self-confidence, and develop their communication skills: all virtues likely to give rise to vocations.
Other themed workshops with new activities are planned throughout August, so you can keep the kids busy and have fun during the vacations. Sessions for groups of up to 20 children will be held every Wednesday for children aged 3 to 7, and every Monday & Friday for 7- to 14-year-olds. Registration is free of charge, so don't miss out!
